Transmite casi instantáneamente gráficos, CGI, CAD, o archivos multimedia y otras aplicaciones que tienen que transmitir archivos de gran tamaño por la red. El TL-SG1005D tiene tecnología Green Ethernet. Puede desconectar automáticamente los puertos sin enlace, y calcular de forma económica la salida de energía para diferentes longitudes de cable. Gracias a la tecnología Green Ethernet, el TL-SG1005D le ayuda a ahorrar energía y costes.
